Eric "Badlands" Booker eating some big burgers
Contributed by: Billy
We've all seen the pic of Eric "Badlands" Booker with the Mutley helmet, but here's the "real" version, un 'shopped. Also found another one that I hadn't seen before
UPDATE 10 May 2012: Badlands has confirmed this was a REAL helmet! More pics to come!

While we're on the topic of Hot Dogs, how's this place. "Schnack" in Brooklyn has a 30" Hot Dog Eating Competition, and Gustad "IronCheff" Mody thought he'd cut his competitive eating teeth on it. 10 entered, only 4 completed, and he finished 4th. A great effort for his first event, and looks like he had a heap of fun doing it!
From: http://ironcheff.blogspot.com/2006/05/my-first-competitive-eating.html
The food: 30 inch hot dog
The goal: Eat it as fast s possible
I came in 4th place of 10 people. Only the top 4 of us finished the whole hot dog. The rest couldn’t finish theirs. Being that this was my first contest, I am pretty content with amount and speed I did. The hot dog had a lot of girth to it, and the custom bun was pretty thick. It took me about 12 minutes to down the hotdog, followed by a tall pint of cold beer. See all pics from the competition here.

"The Big Texan". To some, it means an overly huge cowboy, to others, it's one of the largest steaks you'll ever get a chance to eat. We've featured this fine cut of meat before, and now the guys on Ripley's Believe It or Not have done a story on Richard and Carlene LeFevre completing this mammoth mound of meat. Richard ate nearly two of the 72 oz steaks within the 60 minute timeframe! Carlene also ate hers in record time.

The 34 Patty Mysterious MegaMac Completion!!!
Contributed by: Billy
Another fine piece of Japanese food construction. This time a 34 Patty MegaMac! They should get bonus points simply for the fact that it doesn't fall over!

(Google Translated)First, we had decided to think of name. To tell the truth, it means that the name which exceeds” YOTTA MAC” does not happen to think. With being the case that it is said, Japan to seem we had decided to designate with Japanese. Ten thousand, hundred million and trillion...

128 people have attempted the Ramen Challenge, and only 12 have completed it successfully. That's a pretty exclusive group of supersized eaters! The challenge? Eat an enormous bowl of Ramen Noodles, and finish the soup, all within 60 minutes. Complete the challenge, and you'll get the meal free and receive a $50 voucher. Fail, and you have to pay $50 for the privilege! And thanks goes to "dibbz" and "mianos" for sending this one in!
From: http://www.mianos.com/dibbz/
Dr Hook once sang of the thrill of having your picture on the cover of Rolling Stone. They had obviously never heard of the Ramen Challenge. The Ramen Challenge is simple: eat a heart-stoppingly large bowl of noodles and as well as a $50 voucher, you get your picture in the shop window. Now do the maths. Rolling Stone is already up to issue 651. That's at least 651 different cover pictures. The ramen Challenge window has only 12 pictures, definitely the more prestigious choice.

White Castle Tower - 15 Tall

I can feel a bit of a competition coming on! (But I'd much prefer to see 15 White Castle Burgers stacked! Anyone want to take on the challenge? :))

2ft Pizza from Boulevard Pizza

I tried to find more info about Boulevard Pizza, but didn't have much luck. (I don't think http://www.boulevardpizzeria.com is the place). Anyway, still looks like a damn tasty pizza!
