Contributed by: Billy
2 contestants, 2 6x6's. Who can eat the 6x6 the fastest?
From: http://youtube.com/watch?v=JpYSnJ3ILlQ
We all know the 100x100, but this latest In 'n' Out creation has some spooky backstory... apparently the number 27 is everywhere... so on the 27th of the year, they ordered one...

okay, here's the deal. My boyfriend and all his friends have this big obsession with the number 27, like it's some conspiracy. I swear I see that number everywhere now... I can't even believe that it's just because I'm noticing it now. Anyway! On the 27th of the year, about 8 of us went to in-n-out and ordered it to celebrate. We got really weird looks, all walking up to the counted and my boyfriend saying 'one 27 by 27 please' with a straight face. The lady smiled in disbelief.. 'really?', she almost whispered. She told a couple people. The woman who brought the finished product to the counter almost couldn't hold it up. Then we ate!

Was puttering about on the interwebs and saw Schiappa's updated their website to include a few more successful challengers. ( We wrote about Schiappa's a while ago...) The challengers were none other than Joey "The Jaws" Chestnut, Hall Hunt, Pat Bertoletti, and Tim "Eater-X" Janus!!! I wonder if they knew who these guys were when they walked through the door. Hahah... Nice work guys!

Joe thought he'd try eating the whole thing... not sure how far he got, the video does suggest a visit to the restrooms, but without any gory detail!
Aman's Burger King Challenge

The Challenge: Eat all 11 items on the BK "99c Value Menu" in the space of 1 hour. Some made it, some didn't... some felt pretty average afterwards too by the looks!
From: http://www.pbase.com/cogito/bkchallenge
The BK challenge is not an ultimate tournament. After the New England Fall College Challenge (2002), the team decided to try something different. The task was to eat all 11 items on the Burger King $1 value menu in under an hour. Seven members of our team attempted the challenge, only three finished. Photos by Dave Dunlop.

Thanks to "Tucson Tom" for letting me know about this one! Not long ago, Fuddruckers broke the record for the Worlds Largest Commercially available Hamburger. Then Denny's Beer Barrel Pub came out with the 50lb Beer Barrel Belly Buster. Now, Bob's BBQ in Pattaya, Thailand have broken the record with a 78.5lb (35.6kg) burger monstrocity! And for only US$400, you too can take home one of these bad boys...

I was in London last week, and had to go and check out the home of the Worlds Most Expensive Sandwich, Selfridges in London. For GBP$85, you too can have this fine sandwich. Problem is, it's a takeaway sandwich shop, so it's a bit hard to find a seat! I had a chat to the guy behind the counter and found some interesting stuff about it... read on!
