Every year, a bunch of IT guys get together for what's known as " Defcon", a hacker convention talking about hardware and software hacks/mods/techniques, and other fun stuff. Last year at Defcon 13, one guy was challenged to eat a 35 Patty In 'n' Out Burger to raise funds for The Hacker Foundation. It a tough job, but someone's gotta raise those funds!

A relatively large schnitzel from a place in Sydney, Australia, called "Lowenbrau Keller". Not too bad for AU$27, considering the location. Could be bigger, but worth a mention...
From: http://grabyourfork.blogspot.com/2006/07/lowenbrau-keller-at-rocks-sydney.html
Lowenbrau is, of course, down at The Rocks, an area more commonly frequented by American tourists and busloads of Chinese businessmen. I'd been past the Lowenbrau plenty of times, but the idea of lederhosen, busty wenches and Oktoberfest-merriness always seemed to have the words Tourist Trap plastered all over it.

The Eatza 30 minute Pizza Challenge
Contributed by: Billy
The lads from Urban Honking decided to have an eating challenge at their local "Eatza Pizza" place. The time limit: 30 minutes. The prize: The coveted "Chompy the Shark" Eating Challenge Trophy.
From: http://www.urbanhonking.com/digest/archives/food_dare/
Chompy is the Eating Challenger Shark Trophy. Only one man (or woman) can posses Chompy, because in addition to his name, these words are written on his side, "I am an eating champion", and there can only be one champion. Today was the first of many eating challenges, an all you can eat pizza buffet at Eatza Pizza.

The Giant Jumbo Pizza Slice, Koronet Pizza, New York
Contributed by: Billy
Googlemaps Location: New York, NY, USA
[Updated 8 Sep 06 - 2 new pics!] You'd expect there to be some supersized Pizzas in New York, and this place is no exception. Not surprisingly, Koronet Pizza had to order in custom pans to make these monstrosities!
From: http://www.plateoftheday.com/130/
Went out to Koronet Pizza the other day - haven’t been back for sometime. Koronet Pizza is located at 110th street and Broadway just conveniently 6 blocks south of Columbia University (also a few blocks south of Caffee Swish). Koronet is really the King of pizzas and they’re famous for their jumbo giant pizza slices. For $2.75 you basically get the equivalent of 2 pizza slices as compared to delis throughout the city.

Giant Paella, Argeles-sur-Mer, Southern France
Contributed by: Billy
Usually one associates camping with tinned food, stale bread, and weather permitting, BBQ's and beer. Apparently not so in Southern France. At this particular campsite, they do things supersized! This Giant Paella was created at "Campings Club" in Argeles-sur-Mer in southern France. Check out the size of the wooden spoon! Biggest EVAR!
