6 Patty (3 pound) burger I ate :|
Contributed by: Dauss
So I got friendly with the guy who runs Big Boy's Burgers. He's an awesome guy. Anyways, not what this submission is about.
One day, on a whim, (and, coincidently, right after gazing upon this website...) I asked him what the current record for most patties at once currently was. I can't actually remember the answer, 3, 4, maybe even 5. Anyways, I warned him that I would be coming back one day and breaking that record. I don't think he believed me at the time. Well, the pictures say it all, I suppose. I only have three of them. That would be me with the wide grin behind the burger. ;)

In my last story I promissed that I will send in a story of me eating a Douple Pounder.
Well, I ate it. And, I will never eat it again.
I have nothing more to tell you about the burger, but I got some pictures of it.

Mallie's offers record-breaking 150-pound burger
Contributed by: Billy
Last Saturday, " Mallie's" was looking to break the long standing records of "The World's Largest Hamburger". Currently being held by Denny's Beer Barrel Pub with their "Main Event" 123lb Burger, Mallie's have designed a 150lb burger to break the record. Guinness Book of Records were contacted and consulted throughout the design stages, they've had successful test runs, this is the real deal people! Will Mallie's take the coveted record from Denny? It'll be a few weeks until we can officially confirm whether they've won, but we should be able to get a pretty good idea very soon, especially considering that we've managed to find a pic. Will Denny contest this burger if they end up taking the title? What if they fail? All these questions answered soon!

SOUTHGATE -- Where does a bar and grill go when it's looking to top its everyday fare of 6-pound hamburgers and sundaes the size of basketballs? At Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar, the 240-person capacity establishment in Southgate, the answer is straight toward the record books.

I was in Vegas for the 10th Annual Punk Rock Bowling Tournament and decided to plow through a Big Mac as fast as possible. I surprised myself by clocking in at just under a minute (lettuce droppings included).

2,900 Calorie French Fries From Outback Steakhouse
Contributed by: Billy
[via April Winchell] "Mens Health" magazine recently called Outback Steakhouse's 2,900 calorie cheese-covered ranch dressing french fries "The Worst Food in America". Pussies. It's just packing more of those tasty carbs, fats and dairy into one convenient package for today's busy man! Surely they can appreciate that!

2,900 calories
182 g fat 240 g carbs
Even if you split this "starter" with three friends, you'll have downed a dinner's worth of calories before your entree arrives. Follow this up with a steak, sides, and a dessert and you could easily break the 3,500 calorie barrier.

A Challenger Appears: Bodacious Burrito
Contributed by: Billy
Thanks Anon! From what I can tell in the vid, the Bodacious Burrito is a 12 inch long, about 4 inch thick burrito. Don thought he'd see if he could finish one of these mammoth Mexican monstrocities in under 7 minutes. Is he Man/Mexican enough to conquer this flour wrapped, tightly stuffed stick of foiled goodness?

It was a boring week, so here is a video challenge about Don vs. the bodacious burrito.
furiouspete123 does the 72oz Steak in 7 minutes! World Record!
Contributed by: Billy
You might remember furiouspete123 from such films as "furiouspete123 does the 72oz Steak in 12 mins", and "furiouspete123 and the 2 minute McNugget Challenge". Well folks, it seems we may have a new World Record holder for downing a 72oz Steak. According to my sources, "The Big Texan" 72oz record is held by Frank Pastore, a professional pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, ate the complete steak dinner in a record that still stands today of just 9½ minutes back in May of 1987. This was Frank's 7th and fastest time to complete the steak contest in 11 years of running to spring training in Florida. Well, it seems the record has been broken! Watch the vid!
