So I got friendly with the guy who runs Big Boy's Burgers. He's an awesome guy. Anyways, not what this submission is about.

One day, on a whim, (and, coincidently, right after gazing upon this website...) I asked him what the current record for most patties at once currently was. I can't actually remember the answer, 3, 4, maybe even 5. Anyways, I warned him that I would be coming back one day and breaking that record. I don't think he believed me at the time. Well, the pictures say it all, I suppose. I only have three of them. That would be me with the wide grin behind the burger. ;)

Count em', 6 half pound patties and a nice toasted bun to top it all off. Not to mention enough ketchup and mayo (Garnish of kings) to build a dam.

I recall that as being about 2 and a half patties in. Mike, the guy who runs the place, was nice enough to supply the complimentary bottle of ketchup, or as it was henceforth referred to as, 'Foodlube'.

And this would be the paramedic who promised me he wouldn't let me die, and my friend who stuck around cheering me on until I finished.

I assure you, the paramedic who was eating dinner there was just coincidence.

Or maybe I have a guardian angel. >_>

Anyways, I actually finished it... Unfortunately that's the end of the pictures, so I'll suppose you'll have to take my word for it.

Also negotiating the sending of a video of me attempting a 7 patty burger, which I failed, taken by another friend at a later date.

Also, I can't let this submission go without a plug to Mike and Big Boy's Burgers. He's an awesome guy, and I wanted to thank him for preparing such a beefhemoth. I know his website is still under construction, but it'll be done sometime.
