Yes, you read right... Bacon... Apple... Pie.... Everything is better with Bacon, right? Apparently Bacon + Apple Pie = win!

So recently on the food_porn community at livejournal, someone posted a recipe for bacon apple pie. Everyone has been telling me and my roommates that this it was bound to taste like fail and lose and we were totally nuts for trying it out. Everyone, apparently, had no idea wtf they were talking about.

In retrospect, I think it could have used more cinnamon and sugar.

It was VERY delicious.

She let me cut the ventalation. ^^
(I think that the cinnamon/sugar balance was fine. The flavor balance was surprisingly good.)
