You'd need a big appetite and an even bigger lunch box to get through this sandwich. It took at least eight workers to manoevre the top slice of bread onto the world's biggest sarnie in Zocalo Square, Mexico City.

A few hundred people watched the record attempt and every one of them fancied a bite to eat afterwards. The sarnie was made by Mexican company Bimbo in conjunction with McCormick, Fud, Chalet and Petalo Jumbo.
